Announcing: Vandalism
The new Substack series about my past as a phone and computer hacker in the 2000s
Hi everyone!
It’s been a long time coming, but a project which I have planned to do for some time is finally here: Vandalism. This is a history not told anywhere else, about my days as a phone and computer hacker in the 2000s, and my coming of age as I navigated Autism, my place in Society, and met many strange and dark characters.
Written for a general (non-technical) audience, I will reveal many of my most interesting exploits and craziest true stories and life experiences, like being contacted by international criminal black-hat groups, hijacking phone lines, spelunking in flooded wartime bunkers, creating a botnet, evading pursuit only to come face-to-face with my pursuers years later, gaining access to databases almost at will, tracking Russian hackers across the internet, and yes, even what it’s like to stumble upon incredibly sensitive government secrets by accident.
Every fortnight, I will release a new free edition. Alongside the free posts, there will be special Insiders Only posts, lots of deep background, audio and much more special content.
Today I released the first in the series: The Wall.
Come with me on a journey into the Wild West of the Internet at the dawn of the digital age. This is Vandalism.
